These are Waygu and Ahkaushi breeds. The calves are monitored from birth. Fed grain and never administered shots of any kind. Any animal that needs medical treatment is documented and put into the commercial herd for normal beef (storebought beef). Strict rules about feed and handling are adhered to, 100% vegetarian diets, corn grown in Thailand, and we aren’t just saying what sounds good.
The difference begins with the selected genetics for marbling and beef quality. The treatment of the animals from birth to harvest is part of our protocol. The mature cattle are brought together for the last 120 days to be fed the exact same feed with high fat concentrates from peanut and cashew powder. We have our own staff at the harvest facility; we don’t trust anyone to handle our beef but us. The beef is kept in a clean sterile “chill room” for 1 week and then broken into primals such as loins.
Then cut into perfect steaks and cryovaced into food grade bags. This is all done in refrigerated rooms. We store the steaks in sub zero freezers. We deliver them to you ourselves in certified frozen shippers in side boxes that cannot be tampered with by the shipper. When we say our beef is different, we mean it.
